Chicken drumsticks 5pieces
Cloves 3
Cardomam 2
Bay leaf 1
Black pepper 3 to 4
Seasame seeds 1 tblspn
Poppy seeds 1 tblspn
Chopped garlic 2 tbspn
Onion 1 big
Tomato 1 big
Cumin seeds 1 tspn
Red chilli powder 1 tblspn
Garam masala 1 tspn
Shredded coconut 3 tblspn
Marination
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tblspn
Lemon Juice 1 tblspn
Garam Masala 1 tspn
Turmerci Powder 1/2 tspn
Red Chilli Powder 1 tspn
Procedure:
Marinate the chicken with the items given in the marination list for 30 min.
1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, whole garam masala (cloves, bay leaf, cardomam, black pepper), seasame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion and shredded coconut and fry till it turns light brown.
2. Grind the above fried items along with 1 tomato to a smooth paste by adding little water.
3. Heat some oil in a pan and add the ground paste, 1tblspn red chilli powder and 1 tspn garam masala and fry it for 5 min.
4. Then add the marinated chicken pieces, salt and some water and pressure cook it till the chicken pieces are soft and tender.
5. garnish it with coriander leaves.
