Banana Bread



Ingredients:

Ripe Banana  -  3 or 4
Melted Butter  -  1/3 cup
Sugar  - 3/4 or 1 cup
Egg   -  1beaten
Vanilla extract  -  1 teaspn
Baking soda      -  1 teaspn
All purpose flour  -  1 1/2 cups
Salt - pinch

Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Smash the banana's nicely using pestle or fork.
  3. To this add butter, egg, vanilla extract, sugar, salt and baking soda and mix well.
  4. Then add the flour and mix it well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered loaf pan and bake it for an hour. 
  6. Cool on a rack then remove from pan and slice to serve.
--> To check if the bread is done, test it with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean without any bread sticking to it, then it means the bread the baked well else you will have to bake it for some more time.
--> You can add your favorite nuts to the bread and name it as Banana Nut Bread :-)
