Guacamole


An easy and tasty Mexican dip.

Ingredients:

Ripe Avocado    2
Onion               1/4 chopped
Tomato            1/2 chopped - remove seeds and pulp
Garlic               2 medium pods minced
Cilantro            2 tbspn chopped 
Serrano Pepper  1 minced - remove stem and seeds
Pepper powder   1/4 tspn
Lemon Juice      1 tbspn
Salt                   for taste


Procedure:

  1. Cut the avocado into half, remove the seed and scoop out the fruit from the peel.
  2. Mash the avocado using a pestle.
  3. Add chopped onion, tomato, cilantro, minced garlic, serrano pepper, pepper powder, salt and lemon juice. Mix it well.

It's as simple as that! Enjoy it with Tortilla chips.

-> Select ripe avocado. The skin of the fruit should be brown (green skin means unripe avocado) and the fruit should be soft when slightly pressed.
